Resistant

I am resistant
to learning words
like interrobang

what good are words like that
to a flibbertigibbet
in the world of writing?!

Scribbled for Sunday Scribblings

For a full dose of "Flibbertigibbet" see the next chapter of my continuing story

    1. I like that and inkohol may be the reason I gallop off down strange pathways with my writing.

  3. Flibbertigibbett! That's a wonderful word to have in one's vocabulary. I personally abhor things like B4, instead of before; CU, for see you; or UR rather than you are. Thanks for calling by my 'potty poem'.

  7. Are you getting frivolous and restless in your writing? I think this is the only way to combat the abuse of the language with abbreviations by always using long or obtuse words when we can instead. So then we are cocking a snoot at them.

    1. I think a little frivolity can be good now and then if only to keep the the Ceorls in England on their toes.
