flower of love

love is the flower you've got to let grow carry on tuesdays the cactus flower brings beauty of color to the brown arid desert it is nurtured by the love of the sun and the sweat of the morning dew a gift of nature and a child of god love is like that it too must be nurtured and fed it too will bring beauty to a wild desert

I agree about the beauty in the desert. It is a beauty stripped bare, but a beauty nonetheless. This was a georgeous poem!

  14. Lovely Grizz. I always remember though about roses having thorns, like love does.Cactus is like that too.
I love cactus flowers, they are especially strange in that they come from such a not so nice prickly plant.

  15. selma-I think if is a beauty all its own, a beauty people are afraid to meet. Have you noticed how beautiful people are when you know them personally. The deserts like that.
