Noise, Noise, all around.
The atmosphere was ablaze with the sound.
It rumbled the ground and echoed the canyons.
It shuddered the mountains and boomed the clouds.
It crackled the trees and sizzled the seas
It crashed the earth and split the air.
It grated my bones and wobbled my knees.
It shrilled in my ear and curled my hair.
It screamed until it pierced my soul.
I looked all around to find a hole
and tried to hide myself like a mole.
The noise came from my lovely wife as she stifled a yawn
her sweet loving voice saying
Honey, when are you going to mow the lawn?
